Newmarket Jigsaw Festival 2024
The annual Newmarket Jigsaw Festival is held in St Mary’s church every June.
It was the first jigsaw festival I ever went to, and I had never seen so many rare and vintage jigsaw puzzles. They even had the ‘Call the Midwife’
Details of the 2024 Newmarket Jigsaw Festival have now been released and the dates are :
Entry fee is £2 (children free)
Over 1500 completed jigsaws available to buy as well as a new ‘Bargain Table’ and Brand New puzzles.
The British Jigsaw Championship
Details of the 2024 British Jigsaw Championships have now been released with a major change of venue.
Now held at : Newmarket Rowley Mile Racecourse. Rowley Mile Drive, Newmarket CB8 OTF.
Date is : Sun, 23 Jun 2024 10:00 – 16:00
Registration is now open and cost is £17
(which includes unlimited entry to the St Mary’s Festival)

Isle of Wight Jigsaw Festival 2024
Mon 12th – Sat 17th August 2024
St. James’ Church, East Cowes, Isle of Wight
Daily : 10am to 4pm
Weds & Thurs 6:30pm to 8:30pm
2024 will be the Isle of Wight jigsaw festival’s 29th year!
It started in 1995 when Rev. Stuart Cleaver came up with the idea of displaying his own private collection of jigsaw puzzles to raise funds for the church. Other church members joined in, and 80 puzzles were sold. In 2022, this increased to over 1,100 jigsaw puzzles!
Ramsbottom Jigsaw Festival 2024
4 – 7 Sept 2024
Weds-Fri : 10am to 5pm
Sat: 10am to 4pm
Unlimited Entry: £2 (accompanied children free)
St. Pauls Church, Bridge Street, Ramsbottom.
Ramsbottom jigsaw festival was the second I visited, and again there was a vast range of vintage jigsaw puzzles on display, as well as lots of home-baked cakes!

Charity Jigsaw Festival at Brighouse

pre-owned jigsaws in the UK, supports the Brighouse Charity Jigsaw Festival – a social enterprise which has donated over £136,000 to support disadvantaged and underprivileged children and young people.

Cockerham Jigsaw Festival 2024

Preloved and new jigsaws for sale. Preloved are made up so that you see that all the pieces are there.
They will be broken up and boxed for you to take home. Follows the morning service on Sunday. Refreshments available.

USA Jigsaw Nationals 2024
San Diego, CA March 2024
Congratulations to Alice Rowe from Boulder (CO) who won the 500pc in a time of 39 mins and 12 secs!
The winning pair were Kelly Walter (Phoenix) & Andrea Peng from (San Francisco) who pieced together a 1000pc
Kelly & Andrea were also in the winning team alongside Kelly Buhr & Becca Taylor – The Piece Corps with a time of 1:55:55 for their two puzzles.
