These are my handpicked favourite new Ravensburger puzzles for 2025!
They are so new that Ravensburger haven’t even released them yet!

A Cat’s Year
by Linda Jane Smith
This is a different puzzle from Linda. It’s not a traditional busy scene but a scene for each of the twelve months. To be honest, it was incredible how Linda managed to come up with new ideas for Ravensburger and Gibsons puzzles for so many years.
Linda is one of my favourite artists, and I miss our yearly catchup in Birmingham discussing those new ideas!
Pottery Studio Sanctuary
Lots going on in this puzzle. I especially like the hair model!
I counted at least five cats and four owls too.
Castle Lane
by Dominic Davison
Did you know that Dominic Davison is one of the world’s most successful puzzle artists in America? He does this without painting many people as they aren’t his favourite subject!
Mushroom Cottage
by Aimee Stewart
The magical mind of Aimee Stewart continues …
Those books must be the tiniest books ever. Hard to read the small print!
A Day in the Dales
by Kevin Walsh
Classic Kevin cars! Nothing more to say except enjoy the red MG and Kevin’s dog.
A Puzzling Afternoon
by David Maclean
It had to happen sooner or later – a puzzle about people puzzling!
As always, David fill up every bit of puzzle space. Just look outside that large window – no blue sky in this puzzle! The only thing I would say – are there too many loose pieces on the table and in the trays for the space in the puzzle?
Disney Characters 100 piece extra large jigsaw puzzle
I love this as it hints at the hand drawn nature of these beautiful characters. I’m not sure why it is a 100 extra large piece as I’m sure there is a larger audience for this amongst adults.
Afterglow
by Antonio Segura
Antonio is a new artist to me, but he is one of Spain’s most influential artists. He has a new kind of art style for Ravensburger, and I really like Ravensburger’s new box design. It is very clean and modern. When will they change their ‘classic’ 1000 piece box?!
Valley Farm Cafe
by Anne Searle
I initially thought this was a Debbie Cook painting but it is a lovely ‘feel good’ puzzle from Anne Searle. Blissful country life!
A Busy Day on the Canal
The ever-popular canal boats but this time I think there is some suspect steering from a captain who is too busy taking photos.
There is going to be a crash!
The Coveted Closet
This reminds me of the Dressmaker’s Daughter puzzle which was extremely popular for years. I’m sure this one will be too!
My Haven Boho Retreat
by Steve Read
A different puzzle from Steve Read. Still the same amount of detail but a really lovely & interesting colour scheme. A challenging puzzle.
Minecraft 100 piece extra large jigsaw puzzle age 6+
I had to include this one as I have seen so many trailers for the Minecraft movie with Jack Black!
Glorious Garden Centre
Garden Centre jigsaw puzzles are always popular. The setting is a perfect background for puzzles, and it looks like a perfect setting for these two gnomes too!
Days Gone By
by Steve Crisp
Another winner from Steve Crisp. All the ingredients of a classic puzzle, although that central tree could have done with a few nesting birds? Or made smaller to let us see the rolling hills?
Crazy Cats : Tabby & Co.
by Linda Jane Smith
Latest in the brilliant Crazy Cats range by Linda. My favourite cat?
The ginger tabby letting the white cat sit on his head for no reason at all!
Cats of Mykonos
Apologies for yet another cat puzzle. This reminded me so much of the kitten sleeping around our ankles whilst having an incredible seafood platter out on a pier in the Crete sea!
Dapper Dogs – Digby’s Deli
by Linda Jane Smith
No more cats! Linda is great at dogs & puppies too! I know a few years ago Linda really wanted to paint something else apart from cats. Here they are!
Favourite dog? It has to be the one top left keeping his sausages out of reach of the other dogs!
My Favourite Ravensburger jigsaw puzzles from 2024
Below I’ve listed my favourite Ravensburger puzzles from 2024.
Coastal Cottage by Emma Allen
A lovely dream, ideallic coastal cottage by the Kent-based watercolour artist Emma Allen.
I love the pastel colours and the dog waiting eagerly at the gate for his master to come home from work!
Highland Life by Ailsha Black
I was introduced to Alicia Black‘s artwork around six years ago by the wonderful Sarah, and I always thought she would be a great
Alicia has a distinctive ‘flat’ art style, which can be challenging for puzzlers, but Alicia cleverly paints in textures to help – as well as adding chickens!
Crazy Cats - Mrs Hardwick's Haberdashery
I’ve counted thirteen crazy cats – unlucky for the mice!
Lots of colour in this one from Linda Jane Smith.
One area Linda has improved on so much are the background details. No more boring bits of blank background, instead we get colourful ribbons and even a mouse sitting on top of a cotton reel. Can you spot him?
BEE Friendly by Linda Jane Smith!
Something new & different from Linda Jane Smith.
A bee-usy & colourful
No cats or dogs here but lots of wild flowers!
Amsterdam
A romantic view of Amsterdam’s canals and Cafe Johnny!
it looks like the couple have just finished a dinner date for two and are walking back home hand in hand.
I love the clouds & colours in the sky and that huge moon!
Pierre the Maze Detective - 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle
No ordinary
In this
There are also hidden objects to find, such as a cat (!), and other objects to count, such as gold stars.
The Pierre the Maze Detective books are well-reviewed, so seeing how they translate into puzzles will be interesting.
Astrology - circular 500 piece by Katja Pérez
There aren’t many Astrology jigsaw puzzles, so I’m sure this by Katja Pérez will be popular with its beautiful design and ‘rainbow’ colours.
Katja is a breast cancer survivor, mother, part-time web designer, and illustrator living in the USA, Germany or both!
Night Owl Hoot - 300 extra large pieces
Six multi-coloured owls and twelve pairs of staring eyes!
Find a Long-eared Owl, a Barn Owl, a Great Horned Owl, a Barred Owl, a Northern Pygmy and the tiny, adorable Saw-whet Owl.
Ravensburger’s 300 extra large pieces are 30% larger than the standard 1000 piece size.
Sustainability - 200 extra large pieces
It’s a great message and a lovely painting!
There are children on bikes, tree climbing, grandchildren pushing Grandma in a wheelchair and children helping other children up a slippery slope.
I love this
I hope you enjoyed my hand-picked selection of the best Ravensburger puzzles for 2024!
There are some lovely puzzles by Ravensburger this year.
Bee Friendly is something very new by Linda Jane Smith, which I hope many of her fans will like.
Coastal Cottage is absolutely dreamy!
Which is my favourite?
If you know me, surprisingly, it is ‘Sustainability’ – a really lovely message and a perfect jigsaw
